Michel Vimont is Director of Renault’s Research, Advanced Studies and Materials Engineering (DREAM) and supervises Renault’s entire research strategy, He is also in charge of cross coordinating Research and Advanced Studies for the Renault-Nissan Alliance. He has a track record of 30 years in automobile R&D, including a period as head of Electronic Systems Engineering until three years ago, during which he largely enabled Renault’s breakthrough in onboard vehicle electronics. He also worked on designing, developing and synthesizing cars, especially in the area of road holding.
